Why have your DPF cleaned?
Diesel Particulate Filters are fitted to most modern diesel powered vehicles. When they go wrong they are very costly to replace. Main dealer bills of £1500 upwards are not uncommon and non genuine replacements are generally inadequate. In many cases the cost of DPF replacement can be more than the value of the vehicle.
One option is to have the filter cut out and then have the ECU remapped to work properly without the filter. Unfortunately, if you want to keep on the right side of the law, this practice is becomming less and less attractive. Because DPF removal changes the emission systems of road vehicles, the UK government is now classifying this as tax fraud and will likely fail an MOT test in the future.
The cost effective eco solution..
We can clean your Diesel Particulate Filter and revive it back to almost new condition. If your car is in limp home mode and has failed the regeneration process we can bring it back to life. Our DPF cleaning system uses hi-tech chemicals and machinery that does the job in a matter of a couple of hours. In most cases we can carry out the work with the DPF still on the vehicle.
Prices vary between vehicles but it is always a fraction of the cost of DPF replacement and much cheaper than the cost of DPF removal and remapping.

Removing your car's diesel particulate filter (DPF) might be tempting, because the damage caused by a clogged DPF can result in four-figure repair bills. An internet search reveals numerous companies advertising DPF removal services, but as well as being bad for the environment this is also illegal, and the Government has moved to tighten up the regulations concerning such practices.
In October 2013 Robert Goodwill, roads minister, announced that garages and testing stations will be required to check for a DPF as part of the MoT test from February 2014. The vehicle will automatically fail test if the filter had been fitted as standard but is no longer present.
